Teresa Aguinaldo

Teresa Aguinaldo is a retired English instructor and college dean living in Chicago, IL, USA. She began writing creatively later in life; now in retirement, it is her main passion. She is Filipino, born in the Philippines, and came to the United States when she was a baby. She grew up listening to the stories of her father, who was a child during World War II. She is always inspired by his tales of surviving in a small barrio, escaping to safety in the mountains, and minding the elders’ stories of the many monsters that terrorized the landscape.
