We compensate all writers and artists published who are experiencing any form of displacement. This may include, but is not limited to, people who are refugees, asylum seekers or undocumented; Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples; indigenous persons; migrants with precarious visas; individuals experiencing homelessness. Our rates vary depending on form and length.
At this stage, we cannot pay individuals who are not experiencing displacement.
We are an unfunded non-profit organisation that relies on volunteers and memberships from readers. Our commitment is to work to secure funding so we can pay all writers and artists in future.
