You’re passionate about amplifying the creative work of refugee, people of colour and First Nations communities. You’re excited to join a new start-up organisation and see a direct impact from your work. You love being part of eclectic teams with colleagues from around the world.

We’re now looking for a range of volunteers, in any location, to collaborate with and grow our impact! You’ll be an integral part of shaping our future direction and we can’t wait to meet you. Please read some of our articles and check out our About Us page to get a sense of who we are. The time commitment is flexible and all work is online, but we are looking for individuals who can volunteer at least 2 or more hours per week.

We most need volunteers in these areas: social media, marketing, SEO, design, illustrators, web developers, translation, Farsi and Indonesian editing, fundraising, grant writing, legal, outreach, writers and artists networks.

If you’re as excited about this as we are, please write to us at [email protected] Tell us a little about yourself and why you’d like to get involved. We’d love to hear from you.

In addition, we’re looking for 3 volunteers to play a larger role as part of our team:

  1. Fundraising Manager: Help us build new partnerships with sponsors. We have an ambitious roadmap to expand our work, and need help establishing relationships with potential corporate sponsors and supporters.
  2. Audience Growth Manager: We’re looking for a growth hacker who has experience growing online audiences! We need your expertise to roll out a growth plan and meet more of our target readers.
  3. Indonesian Language Editor: We’re keen to translate more of our work into Indonesian and grow our networks among Indonesian translators and writers. We’re looking for a translator or writer/editor to join our team to help us translate writing from English to Indonesian, oversee the translation of other volunteers as the final editor and/or solicit new writing for publication from Indonesian authors.

Please note that these are unpaid positions: we are an entirely volunteer run non-profit organisation and all funds raised go directly to the communities we work in or the writers and artists whose work we publish.

If you would like to support our work but cannot volunteer, please consider becoming an ongoing member to give our group a sustainable future: Memberships

If you have other skills that you think could support our communities please do get in touch also.
